How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by ShiftPath. To cancel:

Cancelling stops future renewals. Your premium access stays active until the end of the current billing period.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

If you start a monthly or annual subscription, you get 7 days free. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. We'll send a reminder before that happens.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Sign into your iPhone with the same Apple ID you used when you subscribed, then open the app and go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Premium will reactivate within a few seconds.

Can I get a refund?

App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the ShiftPath purchase you'd like to refund. Most decisions arrive within 48 hours.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, streak record, journal entries, milestones, and authentication record from our servers. The action cannot be undone.

If you can't open the app, email us from the address tied to your account and we'll process the deletion within 30 days.

What does Premium unlock?

The AI Coach is slow or won't respond.

The Coach streams replies in real time and needs an internet connection. If you see no response:

If the issue persists, email us with the time it happened — we'll check the server logs.

My streak reset incorrectly.

ShiftPath uses your local timezone, with a 2-hour grace period after midnight. If you traveled across timezones, the original timezone is still in use until the next relapse. If you believe a reset was wrong, email us with the date and roughly what time you checked in. We can review and adjust.

The home-screen widget shows zeros.

The widget uses an App Group container shared with the app. Long-press the widget → Edit Widget → make sure ShiftPath is selected, then open the app once and pull down to refresh. If it stays at zero, reinstall the app.

Push notifications aren't arriving.

Open Settings → Notifications → ShiftPath on your iPhone and confirm notifications are allowed. In the app, check Settings → Reminders for your schedule.
